About Me

Hello! My name is Veronica Drake, and I’m a graphic designer from Atlanta, Georgia. In December 2024 I graduated with my BFA in graphic design from Auburn University, but I’m also an art director, stylist, and photographer.

I’ve lived near Atlanta since the age of 13, allowing me to experience a thriving art scene. I credit this for helping me fall in love with a wide variety of the arts — fashion, music, dance, and art history to name a few! Living here also allowed me to have a plethora of career opportunities from a young age. I began working when I was 15 as an extra in various film & television productions. Stranger Things, Ozark, Cobra Kai, and House with a Clock in its Walls to name a few. While in high school, I also assisted with creating props for Marvel!

Regarding my graphic design experience, I had the opportunity to intern with Saks Off 5th in the summer of 2022. The corporate digital design team was where I worked, creating assets for their website & emails. This internship was especially enjoyable because I’ve always dreamed of working in fashion/advertising!

Currently, I work in sports broadcasting as a live graphics operator. There’s a variety of sports I cover, with college basketball & gymnastics being my favorites — I’ve even gotten to work broadcasts on channels like ESPN, ESPN2, & SEC Network!
